Three Things I'm Excited About at the Wild & Well Festival

This weekend I'm off to Wild & Well Festival in Bristol for the first time, and I'm really looking forward to it! It looks quite promising and it's got a great lineup of activities to do. It describes itself as a wellbeing festival with over 200 events to take part in. I wanted to share a quick look into Three Things I'm Excited About at the Wild & Well Festival.

Doing workout classes to live DJs.
I think this is going to be super fun. The energy of a group of people in a room, exercising for fun while being motivated by a real life DJ instead of a stereo. Brilliant! This really plays to the me of old days who used to love a good rave.

A focus on health and wellbeing.
If you're reading this blog you know how seriously I take my health and wellbeing. I eat things that make me feel good inside and I gave up getting drunk a couple years back because it just wasn't worth it for how it was making me feel. I live a very active lifestyle. At Wild & Well there are foraging walks, cooking classes, live demonstrations, fermentation and pickling workshops, discussions about food and mental health and so much more. For someone like me who loves food, eating seasonally and naturally, this is very exciting!

Survival skills.
I'm really keen to improve my survival skills. I love spending time in the outdoors and it's essential to know the basics. I can't wait to get involved in this type of outdoor learning. There is only so much you can learn from watching survival programs on the television!

There are hundreds of great activities and events going on over the Wild & Well weekend - I really can't wait to get stuck in. Best of all, I'll be doing it with one of my best friends - what a perfect way to spend a weekend!

Are you planning on going? Have you ever been to anything similar? I'd love to hear about it.
