This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.angelachick.com (the “Site”). When I talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, I am talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

At Angela Chick, it is important to me that I maintain your trust when you choose to visit my website and shop with me. This Privacy Policy aims to put your mind at ease about what happens with your personal data and details you share when you visit and shop with Angela Chick. First and foremost, please know, I want to keep your details as safe as possible and I would never think of selling them on. I will only share them with third parties in order to complete your order or at your request (ie: Royal Mail for postage processing). Please read below for more information on where your information might be shared.

What types of data are collected by Angela Chick?

When you visit the Site, it automatically collects certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, it collects information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. This is referred to as “Device Information.”

Device Information is collected using the following technologies:

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. This site is run by Shopify. For more information on their cookie policy click this link: https://www.shopify.co.uk/legal/cookies

“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

“Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Device Information that is collected is to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise the Site (for example, by generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of marketing and advertising campaigns).

Click here to visit the MailChimp site for more information on how they keep your data safe.  You are able to unsubscribe at any time and customers are not automatically added to the list.

Your name, address, payment information and email or telephone number is collected when you order and is used for the purposes of processing your order only. This will be shared with Royal Mail to provide postage for your order. Click here to view their Privacy Policy.
